A FAMILY has been left “absolutely devastated” after four off-road vehicles were stolen from their home.

Chris Cheeney, who lives in Glyndyfrdwy with his wife, Sara, and their children aged nine and six, said the vehicles were taken from their garden sheds in the early hours of Monday morning.

They included a Kawasaki KLX green off-road motorcycle, Honda CRF 70 red dirt bike and a children’s FunBikes Shark RV50 156cc red mini off-road buggy.

A FunBikes 800w green mini quadbike, road bicycle and tools were also taken from the sheds.

Mr Cheeney said the vehicles costed about £6,000 in total, which he and Sara had spent with the hope to "just go for life" after she was diagnosed with cancer.

North Wales Police said it is investigating the incident.

Mr Cheeney said: “I found out it had all been stolen the next morning when I went to the shed to get wood for our builder.

“We bought the off-road vehicles after my wife was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and we decided to just go for life, because you don’t know how long you have.

“Santa also bought my son the off-road car, so he is absolutely devastated.

“If anyone hears anything then please let us know.”

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to report the vehicles and tools were stolen from two sheds in Glyndyfrdwy on Monday morning. Our enquires are ongoing.

“If anyone witnesses suspicious activity in the area then call 101 referencing X058268.”
