MOVIE buffs in the Vale of Clwyd will be well catered for later this week.

Denbigh Film Club's next offering will be 2017 production Goodbye Christopher Robin.

This will be on screen at Denbigh's Theatr Twm o'r Nant this Friday, May 10.

This PG-rated film gives a rare glimpse into the relationship between beloved children's author A A Milne and his son Christopher Robin, whose toys inspired the magical world of Winnie the Pooh.

Along with his mother Daphne, and his nanny Olive, Christopher Robin and his family are swept up in the international success of the books; the enchanting tales bringing hope and comfort to England after the First World War.

But, with the eyes of the world on Christopher Robin, what will the cost be to the family?

Doors open at Theatr Twm o'r Nant at 7pm this Friday, with the film screening getting underway at 7.30pm.

Admission is priced at £4 to non members of Denbigh Film Club, and a bar and refreshments will be available on the night.
