A MURDER investigation has been launched into the death of Holyhead pensioner.
Gerald Corrigan , 74 years old, died on Saturday, May 11 more than three weeks after being shot with a crossbow bolt outside his home near South Stack Road.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "A murder investigation launched following the death of Gerald Corrigan.
"On April 19 Gerald was shot and suffered horrific injuries at his home in Holyhead. Sadly yesterday morning, Saturday, May 11, Gerald succumbed to his injuries and died."
