BELGIUM was the recent destination for talented local footballers.
Bala Town Football Club's Academy took a number of teams to compete in the prestigious Brugge Cup.
The U-14s team brilliantly made its way through to the Brugge Cup final.
A last minute equaliser made it 1-1, meaning the final would go to penalties, but unfortunately Bala lost out 4-2 against Concordia Delft, from Holland.
Elsewhere, Bala Town U-11s finished third in Group A, with the U-10s ending up fifth in Group B.
Bala U-10s concluded the tournament with a 5-4 win in the fifth-placed play-off.
The U-11s finished off with a win on penalties in the third-placed play-off and there was also a fine tournament for the U-8s, who won 10 of their 12 matches to end up as the runners-up.
Bala Town U-12s finished with a 6-0 win in the second-placed play-off against SV Leones, from Holland.
