AN ESCAPED prisoner who had been spotted in Rhyl was caught and arrested in Bangor on Monday evening.
CCTV footage had shown Ronan Korby, also known as Lee Watersworth, at ASDA in Rhyl at about 7.30pm on Sunday, June 2. He had absconded from HMP Leyhill, an open air prison in South Gloucester.
Before that sighting, he was last seen in Bristol, where he was due at a work placement on Friday, May 31. He failed to return to the prison, where he is serving a sentence for sexual offences.
However, North Wales Police have confirmed that he was caught and arrested in Bangor on Monday evening thanks to information from the North Wales public.
