Katie Gresley-Jones, year six class teacher, said: "Over the next year, Mr and Mrs Pearce-Whitby have big plans to create an allotment where pupils can learn about growing their own fruit and vegetables, a herb garden and wildflower garden.

"It will support the teaching of science in the prep school, along with an outdoor library and classroom, as well as an area for ducks and chickens."
