SHOWCASE Cinema de Lux Southampton is opening its doors to football fans to experience all of England and Scotland’s 2019 Women’s World Cup matches from the comfort of the cinema for free.

The perfect place to witness every goal, near miss, penalty, free kick and red card with your friends and family – the build-up, games and post-match analysis will be screened in high-definition and surround sound live and on the big screen.

England and Scotland both feature in Group D - alongside Argentina and Japan - and go head to head this Sunday as they aim to get their campaigns off to a winning start.

Doors open 30 minutes before kick off at 5pm.

The remaining fixtures are Japan vs Scotland on Friday June 14 at 2pm, followed by England vs Argentina at 8pm. Then, on Wednesday June 19, England take on Japan at 2pm ahead of Scotland Argentina at 8pm.

And should England and Scotland progress to the knockout stage, Showcase Southampton will screen these games, too.

Mark Barlow, General Manager, Showcase Cinemas UK, said: “We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be screening England and Scotland’s Women’s World Cup matches this summer for free.

“Women’s football continues to go from strength to strength, and we expect demand for tickets to be high, so reserve your tickets before they go!”

Tickets are available at the cinema box office and can be reserved in advance.
