THREE arrests have been made by North Yorkshire police in their campaign to crack down on drugs.
Officers found wraps of suspected heroin and crack cocaine on a woman arrested in the Jennyfields area of Harrogate after she had been seen acting suspiciously in a local car park. Investigations carried out at the woman’s home found further wraps of suspected class A drugs and two men were arrested, a 42 year old from Harrogate and a 22 year old from the Bradford area.
Both are being investigated on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. All three have been released while under investigation to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
A police spokesperson said: “ If you suspect drug dealing is going on in your neighbourhood, please let the police know on 101, no matter how small you think the information is, it could help form a bigger picture.”
Detectives said anyone who does not want to speak to the police can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
