YNYS Môn women have it through to the semi-finals of the Huws Gray 2019 Inter Island Games football tournament.
Karen Williams' side will face Jersey at Amlwch Town tonight (Wednesday, 6.30pm) after topping group A and are now in a great position to land themselves a medal.
Ynys Môn finished top of the pile with a +1 goal difference, after both Hitra and the Western Isles also claimed three points during the group stage.
On the opening day, the Môn women claimed a memorable 3-1 win over the latter, with Lexi Crawley hitting a hat-trick.
However, matchday two on Monday proved to be tougher as they fell to a 3-2 loss to group favourites Hitra. They found themselves 3-0 down by the hour mark and despite a spirited fightback which saw them pull two goals back via Lexi Crawley and Jordanne Greenhough, it was not enough to claim any points.
There was good news for the women on Tuesday once more though - the Western Isles' 1-0 victory over Hitra at Bro Goronwy meant that Karen Williams' side progressed through to the semi-finals as table toppers.
Speaking on social media after that result came through, Williams (above) said: "If we ever needed a big, loud, supportive crowed then today (Wednesday) is the day.
"We are still yet to play our best football, so please, please, please come over to Lôn Bach tonight with the biggest voices and noisiest instruments you can find and give our girls the lift they need!"
The winner of Ynys Môn v Jersey will face Isle of Man or Hitra in the final held at Holyhead Hotspur on Friday evening and will be guaranteed a medal.
Meanwhile, Western Isles face Gibrlatar in a fifth placed play-off on Wednesday evening.
