LOCAL athletes have been able to make their mark in a Vale of Clwyd competition.
Members of BACE Fitness were some of the athletes who competed in the Ruthin 5k race on the evening of Wednesday, July 3.
Once again, it proved to be a well-organised event.
It was run in warm conditions, which made it a little tougher for those who took part.
There were some brilliant times from BACE Fitness figures.
First home was Heather Lewis, who crossed the line in 26 minutes and 38 seconds.
She was followed by Rhian Evans (29.01), Lona Padan (33.12), Tracey Lewis (33.40) and Siwan Jones (34.17).
Three members of BACE Fitness who have just completed the beginners' group also took part, with excellent results.
Kerri Henderson completed the course in 32.32, followed by Llinos Holmes and Kelly Cumston, who both finished in 34.08.
Haf Pritchard also took part and her time was 39.05.
