PUPILS and staff at Blessed Edward Jones Catholic High School marked an end of an era.
In September, pupils will return to £23million Catholic School Christ the Word.
The school, which will cater for 420 full time pupils aged 3-11 and 500 pupils aged 11-16, will replace Ysgol Mair and BEJCHS.
Amanda Preston has been appointed headteacher of Christ the Word.
On Wednesday, July 16, BEJCHS posted on Twitter: "End of an era. Blessed Edward Jones closes its doors for the final time.
