THE family of a young woman who died following a crash in Gwynedd have paid tribute their "beautiful, sweet and talented" little girl.

Fflur Green, 24, from Trawsfynydd, was a passenger in a blue coloured Renault Scenic which collided with a blue Mitsubishi ASX on the A487 between Gellilydan and Maentwrog shortly before 9.50pm on Thursday, July 11.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fflur's family said: "No words can describe this unbearable pain we are all going through of losing our daughter, sister and granddaughter.

“My beautiful, sweet, quiet, hardworking and talented little girl. Taken away from us way too soon.

"Fly high my darling angel. Mum loves you."

North Wales Police continue to appeal for witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage to come forward.

Sergeant Raymond Williams who is leading the investigation said: “Our thoughts remain with Fflur’s family and friends at this difficult time.

"She was clearly a much loved young woman and her family are now being supported by police family liaison officers.

“I would like to thank those witnesses who have already come forward, however we are aware of two vehicles which passed the scene of the collision and I am keen for both drivers to contact us.

“We also continue to appeal to anybody who may have seen the vehicles travelling along the A487 prior to the collision to come forward to assist with our ongoing investigation.”
