Ruthin Farmers Auction will host the Ruthin Flower and Country Show
A SECTION of a popular summer country show has been cancelled.
Due to concerns about equine flu, there will be no equestrian class during next month's Ruthin Flower and Country Show.
"The Ruthin Show Society has regretfully cancelled the horse section of the show because of concerns about equine flu," said Ruthin Flower and Country Show secretary Sian Lightfoot.
"However, all other sections of the show will take place."
Ruthin Flower and Country Show will be held at Ruthin Farmers' Auction at 12pm on Saturday, August 17.
It is hoped that the horse section will return for next year's show.
