A SOFA dumped on a roundabout has now been removed.
The battered looking piece of furniture was spotted by our photographer on the roundabout near the Foryd Bridge on Monday, July 22.
A spokesman for Denbighshire County Council said: “The sofa has been cleared by officers and an investigation into who was responsible is now underway.
“As part of our work in West Rhyl we have been engaging with residents and this has resulted in a reduction in fly-tipping over the past 12 months. We would like to thank residents for their support with this project.
“Fly-tipping is an offence and has a huge impact on our communities and we use a range of actions including enforcement to tackle this problem.
“We will continue to ensure that anyone fly tipping is prosecuted.
"A conviction of fly tipping is serious and can prevent a person applying for certain jobs and can exclude them from housing lists.”
