THERE has been a powercut in Abergele.
This is in the LL22 area.
SPEnergyNetwork tweeted: "We are aware of a powercut in #LL22 #Abergele.
"Our engineers are making their way to site and will work to restore the supplies."
One resident posted on the Abergele, Llanddulas and District Discussion Forum on Facebook: "Just heard people heard an explosion near the train station before the power went off."
Another user said: "No cut, but we had a power surge near the golf course in Abergele."
A spokesperson from Scottish Power said: "We had a fault that came in just before 12pm on the overhead network involving a pole terminal that faulted.
"The majority of customers were back on by 12.45pm, with the last few customers on just before 3pm.
"We apologise for any inconvenience."
