ONCE again, students at St Brigid’s School, in Denbigh, have gained outstanding A level results.

All of the pupils will be going to the university or career pathway of their choice.

Nearly a third of students gained A*-A grades and 81 per cent of students gained an A* to C grade.

Amongst the St Brigid's headliners is David Morgan, who achieved two As and an A*, and he will be pursuing a career in medicine.

Harriet Hurst has gained a place at Liverpool University to read economics with an A and 2Bs, while Alyssa Dicksee gained 3As and will be taking a gap year.

Kate Jones achieved 2As and a B and she will be studying business management at Liverpool University, while Matthew Williams, who gained 1A*, 1A and a B, will be reading history and philosophy at York University.

Also heading to Yorkshire is Nia Tovey (1A, 2Bs) who will read psychology at Leeds University.

St Brigid's School headteacher Rona Jones said: "These successes, as ever, are a result of the students’ and teachers’ consistent effort and commitment, as well as invaluable support from parents and guardians.
