THREE men have appeared before magistrates in Caernarfon following a knife attack in Rhyl.
The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, August 13.
Three men were arrested in connection with the incident.
At Caernarfon, an application for a warrant of further detention was granted, and all three men will remain in custody for a further 36 hours pending further investigations.
One of the men arrested was an 18 year old from Merseyside. He was arrested in Denbigh on suspicion of attempted murder, as part of the ongoing investigation.
The incident left a 43 year old man - from the local area - with serious injuries. He was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital.
