A NEW inclusive café aimed at bringing together different communities has opened in Wrexham.
The café, which opened in Rhos on Saturday, August 31, is being run predominantly by volunteers in the community, serving food and drinks to try and bring the people of the area together.
Cllr Paul Pemberton, who represents Rhos, was at the opening of the café and has said: “It’s a real community project and I’m really happy with how it’s all come together.
“It’s a real charity run thing, there is only one paid member of the staff at the place and other than that it is entirely run by volunteers.
“I was pleased to be at the setup of the new inclusion café in Rhos, both Polish and British food is on the menu with such a dedicated group of volunteers. Everyone was having a whale of a time and it was really enjoyable to see the Welsh, English and Polish communities of the area all coming together.
“That is what this is all about really, we want to bring everyone in this community together at a time when there is so much divide within our nation.”
