ARMED Police intercepted a vehicle travelling on the A55 which was believed to have been linked to an abduction probed.
The incident, believed to have taken place on Saturday afternoon, saw armed response vehicles from North Wales Police and Cheshire Police Armed Alliance Policing Unit stop the car in question on te expressway at Bodelwyddan.
One person has been arrested following the incident and is in custody.
Cheshire Police and @nwpolice Alliance Armed Policing Unit Tweeted at 6pm last night: "Good work resulted in one locked up after ARVs stopped a vehicle linked to an Abduction on the A55 at Bodelwyddan.
"Thanks to our colleagues from response for the help #anpr #oneincustody ".
