A FAMILY is desperately searching for their lost dog.

Spot is a Parsons Jack Russell. She went missing from her old house in Denbigh Bull Lane between 8.30pm and 9pm on Friday, September 13.

She is white with black spots and is described as very friendly with a docked tail.

Anne Williams said: "Spot was the my parents' dog whom they had adopted as a rescue dog - Marcia and Emrys Williams from Denbigh.

"She was known as Spotty face by my father. She helped my parents through the death of my brother in 2010 and she was a massive source of comfort for my mother when my father died in 2011. She remained with my mother until she had to move to residential home."

Anne and her husband Steve took Spot to live with them in Nottingham.

"We visit my mum every month and bring Spot to see her. Spot is now quite old, deaf and losing her sight but she lights up my mother's life when she sees her," Anne added.

"My mother has dementia and her recall is not very good, but she always remembers Spot.

"We are devastated that she is now lost. She has never wandered before and rather an old dog and is quite doddery.

"We would appreciate any help to find her.

If anyone sees Spot, telephone Anne on 07722006288
