SAINTS U19s have gone down to a 22-10 defeat in their Academy Grand Final at Wigan.
They had dominated the early stages with Josh Simm crossing under the sticks, with Lewis Dodd’s conversion making it 6-0.
Wigan levelled through Amir Bourouh but after a Jack Welsby 40/20 Nico Rizzelli went over for Saints' second try of the game to lead 10-6 at the break.
However, all the second half points went Wigan's way.
Tries from Sam Halsall, Max Roberts and Ben Holcroft ensured Wigan retained their Academy title.
