MUSIC fans will be well catered for this autumn at a North Wales venue.

As part of the theatre's concert season, celebrated clarinettist Benjamin Mellefont will be appearing at the venue on October 20 (7.30pm).

Anglesey’s brilliant pianist Jâms Coleman joins Ariana Kashefi, a prize winner at the International Rubinstein Competition in Berlin, and ex-principal clarinetist at the Liverpool Philharmonic Benjamin Mellefont to perform beautiful clarinet sonatas and trios.

Benjamin Mellefont began playing clarinet in Sydney in 2002.

He trained at the Royal College of Music and with the Australian and European Union Youth Orchestras and is an alumnus of the London Sinfonietta Academy and Britten-Pears Young Artists Programme.

Benjamin was appointed principal clarinet of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in October 2015.

Since 2012, Benjamin has been a core member of the Explore Ensemble, which performs contemporary chamber music.

He is also a member of Manchester Collective performing both core repertoire and cross-arts collaborations.
