A MEMBER of staff was assaulted during an 'altercation' at a Rhyl youth club.
The incident happened at the Brighter Futures Youth Club on Wellington Road at about 7.30pm on Thursday, October 24.
A group of youths were involved in the altercation.
No-one required hospital treatment and police say there is no suggestion of a weapon being used.
PCSO Danielle Barnfield said: “We are aware that there were a number of people in the area who would have seen the incident and will no doubt have been shocked by what they saw.
"Our inquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.”
The group allows young people to become involved in delivering services for themselves. There is a committee and advisory members from the police, youth workers, community workers, residents and organisations/
