A COUPLE of talented Vale of Clwyd swimmers have gained recognition at national level.
Ruthin Rays Swimming Club's Millie Hannant has been selected to train with the Welsh skills squad for the coming season.
Meanwhile, Rhodri Williams has also secured his place for another year on the youth development squad.
Both of the swimmers will be travelling down to Swansea to join the rest of the selected Welsh competitors across the year, enjoying both pool training and classroom-based learning.
They will also have the opportunity to compete in their respective Welsh squads, proudly representing Wales both in the UK and abroad.
Also, the Ruthin club is proud to report that head coach Andrea Harvey has been selected to join the Swim Wales coach development programme.
Andrea will also be travelling down to Swansea to support the Welsh squad training days and she will also benefit from spending time with other Welsh coaches, sharing best practices and bringing them back to the Ruthin pool.
