COMEDY fans are in for a treat at a forthcoming Theatr Clwyd event.

The theatre is inviting audiences to attend great night with three more of stand-up’s rising stars at its monthly comedy club in association with The Celtic Arms.

This December the theatre brings attendees three of the hottest names in comedy with Steve Harris, Hayley Ellis and Kevin Dewsbury (MC).

Steve Harris first leapt on stage back in August 1998 and within three months had won himself the coveted North-West comedian of the year award after just five gigs.

A finalist of the BBC new comedy awards and Channel 4’s So you think you’re funny in the same year, Steve went on to headline all of the top comedy clubs in the UK.

Hayley Ellis is a former regular sight gag contributor for the Russell Howard's Good News television programme.

She has appeared on MTV’s Why aye love Geordie Shore and Comedy Set Lists and can also sometimes be heard on your wireless. Her sketches and jokes have appeared on Newsjack (BBC Radio 4)

Kevin Dewsbury is a standup comedian from Cheshire, though usually people think he is from Yorkshire due to his 'ridiculous northern accent'. He is usually very funny, but not everyone will laugh at his jokes 'due to the law of averages and high expectations'.

Comedy Club can be seen at Theatr Clwyd (Clwyd Room) on Tuesday, December 10 at 8pm.

Tickets, priced at £10, are available from the Theatr Clwyd Box Office on 01352 344101 or at www.theatrclwyd.com

This show may contain some strong language and themes of an adult nature.
