AN 'ORNAMENT' of a medieval knight riding a horse was found on a footpath.
The knight with shield was plucked to safety by Graham Copeland.
Mr Copeland's friend spied the article on the footpath on Bodelwyddan Avenue, Kinmel Bay, but rather than let it sit there and be damaged, Mr Copeland picked it and is keeping it safe until its rightful owner comes forward.
He said: "I found it to be a metal knight and horse with a shield pulled away from his hand. I thought this could be valuable to someone and also, it could have been stolen.
"I thought it was just a plastic item, but when I picked it up, we both thought it was too heavy to be rubbish.
"It weighs just over seven pounds. We can only assume it was too heavy to be carried any further."
