IT'S starting to feel a lot like Christmas!

Get set to feel festive in Ruthin this weekend for one of the biggest and busiest days in the town's calendar.

Due to the hard work of the Ruthin Forward team, there will be 40 stalls attending Ruthin Christmas Market this coming Saturday, November 30.

Most of these wide and varied stalls will be situated on St Peter’s Square, but there will also be a few located within the Old Courthouse too.

This will give people the opportunity to visit the building, now the new home of Ruthin Town Council.

One of the stalls is the Marie Curie stall, which will offer a most helpful gift wrap service to gift buyers, for a donation.

What a great idea that is!

There will be various food stalls and a stall selling mulled wine and cider, outside the Myddelton Grill on the Square.

The Christmas market will be starting at 10am and it will then continue throughout the day.

Turning to the afternoon, and from 2pm until 5pm there is entertainment for all to enjoy.

Performing will be the Ysgol Borthyn choir, Ysgol Stryd y Rhos choir and Rock Choir North Wales.

Later on, Ruthin Panto Society’s Rockin’ Robins will be performing, and, lastly, Syrcas Cimera Fire Performers will be making a blazing appearance.

Talking about an illuminating experience, at 5pm Ruthin Mayor Cllr Gavin Harris will switch on the Christmas lights.

This will herald the arrival of the Convoy of Lights making its way through town for all to enjoy.
