THE stars of Classroom Call this week are primary school pupils from Ruthin.

Ysgol Borthyn have been busy in the world of politics, with every pupil made a member of the Ysgol Borthyn Senedd. As part of the weekly programme, titled Pupil Voice, the pupils met in committees to discuss their own School Action Plan and how it could be carried out. The committees include the School Council, Eco-Council, Christian Values, Sports Council, Pupil Press and Cymraeg Campus.

“Pupil Voice is a huge part of Ysgol Borthyn,” said a school spokesperson. “We encourage pupils to play an active role in decision-making that supports their learning.”
