CHRISTMAS Day lunch is an important time to spend with family and friends.

However, for many people, December 25 can be a lonely time.

To combat the loneliness people may experience on Christmas Day, a superb initiative has been organised in Denbigh once again.

On that day, St Thomas' Church will once again by playing host to its Christmas Day celebration.

The church will provide a free lunch to people in the town, followed by carol singing to really get folk into the Christmas spirit.

People will be assured of a very warm welcome on the day and transport can be arranged if required.

Booking is essential so if you, or anybody you know, would like to attend, call as soon as possible.

The event is being held thanks to the generous support of the community in Denbigh.
