FIREFIGHTERS were called out to at a home in Gronant after unattended cooking caused a blaze.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 8.45pm on Wednesday reporting the incident at an address in Moel View Road.
Two crews, one each from Rhyl and Prestatyn, attended the scene but the blaze was out when they arrived.
Firefighters inspected the property and confirmed the blaze had been caused by cooking left unattended.
Damage was caused to the food only, a spokesman said.
