THEY are most certainly a smart bunch at a Gwynedd school.

A new kit has been given to the year 8 boys' team at Ysgol Godre'r Berwyn, in Bala.

This team is the most successful at the school this year for secondary boys, managing to progress the farthest in the Welsh Cup competition for schools. "We are extremely grateful to Williams Bala for sponsoring this impressive kit for the school and, as it happens, Williams Bala was the first company to sponsor a football kit for Ysgol y Berwyn in the early 90s," said a school spokesperson.
