POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision in Bradford last week.

The incident happened at around 11.11pm on Saturday, 7 December, West Yorkshire Police say, and involved a silver Ford Focus and a blue Fiat Punto.

It happened on Great Horton Road, close to the Mumtaz restaurant.

The Focus had failed to stop for police prior to the collision, which also involved two parked vehicles.

A 21-year-old man who was in the Punto was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a critical, but stable condition today.

Two other males were also taken to hospital for further treatment.

Two men aged 19 and 22 were arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Both were later released under investigation.
