Joint third prizes were presented to Cari Helen Hughes from Ysgol Eglwysbach VC School and Finlay Dinsdale from Hawarden Village school.

Bishop Gregory said: “I’m particularly delighted with this year’s design because of the sheer happiness and joy that the image represents.

“Christians believe the message of Jesus’ birth is a message of joy to the world and that makes this design particularly fitting.

"Having met Eva, I realise this happiness and joy is a reflection her own personality."

All prize winners received a book token and certificate.

In addition, Eva received an enlarged print of her design, along with 10 Christmas cards.
