POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was taken to hospital following an aggravated burglary in Denbigh.

The incident happened when three males entered a property in the Crown Lane / Chapel Street area of the town at around 7pm on Thursday, December 19.

One man is described as being white, 5’10” tall, of slim build, and was wearing a black balaclava which allowed fair coloured eyebrows to be visible.

He also wore a black waist length jacket and black jogging pants.

He was seen to be holding a black rucksack and also a small clear plastic bag, and he had a local accent.

The second male was 6 feet tall, of slim build, with dark eyebrows visible through a black balaclava.

He was wearing a zipped black waist length jacket, black jogging trousers - cuffed at the ankle - black trainers and black cotton gloves.

The third was 6’2” tall and of large build.

He was wearing black tight fitting plain grey jogging trousers (cuffed at the ankles), a black top and grey Adidas trainers.

He appeared to be wearing a black beany type hat with a scarf hiding his lower face, while his eyebrows were brown.

DC Mathew Kelly-Smith said: “Thankfully the injured man suffered minor injuries, following what is believed to be an isolated incident, with no wider concerns for the public.”
