THEY'LL be laughing in the aisles during a forthcoming event in the Vale of Clwyd.

On Thursday, January 30, Theatr Twm o'r Nant will be playing host to the Stand up for Denbigh Comedy Club.

Under the direction of MC Nia Lloyd Williams, it will be an evening of live comedy in the company of seven comedians.

Co-organiser Sarah Roberts said: "I am a co-organiser of Standup for Denbigh.

"The night has been created with my partner and co-organiser Nia Lloyd Williams to provide aspiring comedians in North Wales with the opportunity to gain valuable experience on a stage in front of a live audience, without the necessity to drive to the comedy clubs of Liverpool and Manchester.

"We have been very lucky to gain a residency in Theatr Twm o’r Nant, where on the last Thursday of each month we feature seven comedy acts from across country and guest comperes."

Taking to the stage during the event will be Gemma Roberts, Andy Quirk, Anthony Grogan, Natalie Husdan, Jack Kelly, Sarah Lloyd and Allan Lear.

Sarah added: "With a line-up of comedians booked up into 2020 and far beyond, we look look fondly out onto an audience who arrived as strangers, now united as good friends by the wonderful energy of laughter."

Tickets are priced at £5 and they are available from Costello's Florists, Vale Street, Denbigh.

Doors will open at 7.30pm on January 30, with the comedy starting at 8pm.
