A 23-YEAR-old man who threatened to burn down his ex girlfriend's house in the early hours of Sunday and smashed her kitchen window and the passenger window of her car got a suspended prison sentence on Tuesday, January 14.
Lewis Wilkinson of Bryn Seion, Denbigh, pleaded guilty to threatening to burn down the home of Gemma Jones in the town, and to two charges of causing criminal damage. The court heard he'd spent the weekend using alcohol and cocaine.
Magistrates at Caernarfon imposed a 16-weeks prison sentence suspended for a year and he must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and attend a special 35-session probation programme.
Wilkinson must pay £557 in compensation and costs.
