SEVEN neighbours in Denbigh are celebrating after winning £1,000 in the Postcode Lottery.
The Park Street residents netted the windfall when LL16 3DB was announced as a daily prize winner with the People’s Postcode Lottery on Tuesday, January 21.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: “I’m so happy for our winners in Denbigh. I’m sure this is a great surprise for them and I hope they go out and treat themselves with their winnings.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities.
The People’s Postcode Lottery has donated a total donation of £500million and the recent draw was promoted by the Woodland Trust, which has received nearly £12m in funding.
Other good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities now have the opportunity to apply for funding from January 21.
