THE four star Dunoon boutique hotel in Llandudno, is adding an extra 18 bedrooms in a £500,000 expansion programme.
The hotel, which was established in 2002, is completely restoring and fitting out a derelict 12,000 sq ft next door building.
Work started in early 2019 and is due to be complete by February 2020. The new refurbishment will create a further five jobs, adding to the Victorian seaside town’s rich tourism economy.
Rhys Williams, Managing Director of the Dunoon Hotel, said: “I’m very pleased and proud to be on the home straight after spending the last year reviving the derelict property next door, which means we no longer need to turn people away due to a lack of space.” The family run hotel was awarded two AA rosettes for culinary excellence in 2019, a Visit Wales Gold Award and Go North Wales Tourism Hotel of the year 2018.
