LITTLE ones at a community primary school received a visit from Denbigh fire crew.
Firefighters visited both nursery classes at Ysgol y Parc.
This was to enhance their topic about - 'people who help us'.
Fiona McCloskey-Jones, teacher, said: "They have been learning about the emergency services amongst other jobs of people who help us in our local community.
"The children loved the visit and were able to sit in the fire engine, try on uniform, look at different equipment and most importantly have a go at the hose.
"This experience really enhanced the children's topic and their learning. It gave them an authentic experience and memory that will last longer.
"Ysgol Y Parc would like to say a big thank you to the Denbigh crew for coming to visit.
"The children loved it."
