TRAFFIC lights caught fire in Colwyn Bay during heavy rain on Sunday.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent one crew to the A55 slip road after an electrical fault in the traffic light system.
The fault could have been caused by heavy rain during Storm Dennis.
“We sent one crew from Colwyn Bay to the incident on the A55 slip road,” a fire service spokesperson said.
“We used one hose reel to put out the fire.
“It could have been caused by water getting into the electrical system, which sustained 100 per cent damage.”
