ONE LANE of an A55 slip road has been closed until Friday for emergency repair works to take place after damage was caused by the recent bad weather.

Delays are to be expected for motorists who are travelling eastbound at peak times on the A55 as lane one of the Junction 31 Caerwys slip road has been closed.

Work is currently being done to repair the faulty cable network and lit signs following the recent adverse weather conditions which look set to continue in the region.

Repairs are estimated to be completed by Friday, February 28, and motorists are advised to add some time to their journeys.

The whole slip road was closed off on Wednesday morning due to a car fire on the only open lane, although this is unlikely to affect the repair work.
