THERE will be more laughter in store in a Vale of Clwyd town towards the end of this month.

Standup for Denbigh will be returning for its next offering of mirth on March 27.

Even though the second of Standup for Denbigh comedy nights saw a smaller audience, it was as if the acts were even more determined to give every single person in Theatr Twm o'r Nant the very best night of comedy it was possible to have.

Unknown to the audience until the end, three acts received awards as this was their graduation gig of a local comedy and confidence course.

Organisers Sarah Lloyd and Nia Williams were very pleased with the atmosphere and team attitude of all the acts on show.

Indeed, feedback from the audience was appreciative of a line-up that was packed with variation and talent.

Standup for Denbigh Comedy Club will return at Theatr Twm o'r Nant on Friday, March 27.

On the night, the acts will include Gemma Roberts, Andy Quirk, Anthony Grogan, Natalie Husdan, Jack Kelly, Sarah Lloyd and Allan Lear.

The MC will be Nia Lloyd Williams.

Doors will open at 7.30pm and the gags will be coming thick and fast from 8pm.

Tickets are priced at £5 and they are available from Costellos Florists, on Vale Street, Denbigh.
