DEE Valley runners have been a busy bunch lately.

Run Free Fell Runners have been out and about competing in a number of events.

St David's Day witnessed the Jones Crisps Anglesey Trail Half race.

This race would normally start on the Menai Bridge, but due to a very inconsiderate storm, it had to start in the town instead.

There were amazing views of Snowdonia for runners to enjoy, with an undulating course, but there was also an opportunity for a personal best.

Paul Sidwell finished a superb 28th in one-and-a-half hours, with Susan Wallace crossing the line in 2-04 for 435th.

On the same day, the Cloud 9 Hill Race was held.

This race is a mix of road, tracks and hills, with plenty to challenge competitors.

The course took competitors from Congleton to the summit of Bosley Cloud and back.

Warren Renkel finished eighth in one hour and two minutes.

Also held recently was the Oswestry Olympians 10k.

The race starts and finishes at Marches School.

There are a few little speed bumps on route, taking runners through the market town, where they can eye up the pubs to stop in on your way home!

In 211th position was Tony Capstick in a time of 59.16.
