IT dozen get any better than this for Vale of Clwyd athletes!

A total of 12 Denbigh Harriers made the trip to a sunny, but blustery Llandudno on Saturday for the rearranged Nick Beer 10k event.

The rearranged race had to use an alternative route due to a landslide on the Great Orme.

This new route consisted of two of laps of the Llandudno prom, either side of a hilly detour.

The wind had an effect on the race, especially on the last mile on the prom towards the finish, as well as blowing sand into the runners' eyes towards the West Shore.

There were some great personal bests from a clutch of Harriers - Huw Williams, Rebekah Dumayne and Jessica Jones - while there was a trd M65 category prize for Fred Jones.

Harriers' results: 24, Huw Williams 40.28 (pb); 70, Melina Morris 44.35 (fourth in category); 87, Mathew Jones 45.31; 103, Duncan Jones 46.26; 115, Mari Williams 47.05; 117, Fred Jones 47.15 (third in category); 142, Carys Davies 48.53 (fourth in category); 246, Ian Jones 55.27; 249, Michael James 55.34; 331, Rebekah Dumayne 1-01.41 (pb); 351, Julie Roberts 1-03.20; 387, Jessica Jones 1-08.47 (pb).
