A ROAD on the outskirts of Ruthin was closed after a lorry crashed into a wall on Thursday morning.
North Wales Police said it shut the Erw Goch junction of Wrexham Road at 5.40am after the lorry hit the wall and caused further damage to a telephone pole.
“We were called to the incident at Erw Goch at 5.40am on Thursday, March 12,” a police spokesperson said.
“The lorry had collided with a wall and hit a telephone pole.”
The Welsh Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
Scottish Power was called to repair the damaged pole.
The road was reopened at 10.15am.
