A FOOTBALL club has confirmed that one of their players has developed Coronavirus symptoms.
Ruthin Town Football Club said as a precautionary measure, the player has undertaken a period of self-isolation following medical advice.
The symptoms are described as 'mild'.
Writing on their Facebook page, Ruthin Town FC said: "The player will be notified today regarding testing and results will be known within 48 hours of that test
"As a precaution, and following advice from the FAW Chief medical officer, all players have been advised to self isolate until the results are known.
"The first team game v Flint tomorrow has been postponed. As a further precaution the Development Squad match v Saltney has also been postponed.
"A further statement will be issued once the results of the test are known."
It is understood the player has returned from Italy recently.
