Mold primestock sale - March 23

UNDER difficult trading circumstances, firstly thanks must be given to all sellers who followed the guidelines and stayed away from the sale ring and sheep pens.

Also, thanks go to all of the buyers for their continued support through this difficult time.

In order to keep markets open, this is going to be the way for the foreseeable future.

Beef trade met an excellent trade, with buyers looking to replenish stocks.

Cull cows also met an excellent trade, despite rumours of a large fall in dead weight pricing.

Unfortunately, the lamb trade was severely impacted by the current situation, as it seemed to be in all centres.
