FIREFIGHTERS attended a chimney fire in Ruthin.
This happened in Min Yr Afon at 7.12pm on Wednesday, March 25.
A spokesperson from North Wales Fire and Rescue said: "Equipment used included a chimney rod and scotty backpack.
"A thermal imagine camera was also used.
"It was caused by an accumulation of soot."
One crew was sent from Ruthin.
The public is being urged to take caution to try and help reduce the demand on firefighters during the current covid-19 situation.
Advice for those staying in their homes is as follows:
Test smoke alarms.
With a full house, make sure electrical sockets are not overloaded
Switch off everything before heading to bed - many house fires start at night.
Farmers and landowners are urged to avoid burning on their land.
Farmers who feel they must should notify the control room on 01931 522 006.
