FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a fire that had spread to a house in Saltney.
Two fire engines, one from Chester and one from Powey Lane, attended the blaze, that involved a fence and spread to the property, at about 5.30pm at Henry Wood Court yesterday (Wednesday, April 8).
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. A covering jet was also used.
"The crews then checked the rest of the property for fire spread by using a thermal imaging camera.
"Once the scene was damped down, the firefighters left the incident with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service colleagues."
