A man has died following a house fire near Corwen, the fire service has confirmed.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Wrexham and Corwen were called to the blaze at Penrhos, Bryneglwys just after 9pm on Friday (May 15).
Three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform attended the scene and used four sets of breathing apparatus and three house reel jets to tackle the flames.
The body of a man, believed to be in his 60s, was found inside the properties by fire crews.
At this stage the cause of the fire is not known, but a joint investigation has been launched by the fire service and police.
A relief fire crew from Ruthin remains at the scene this morning attending to hotspots.
